Eva has been on two interesting courses at the Royal Academy of Arts in March.

The first one was a ‘Drawing into Painting’ course with David Webb, in the amazing well lit studio spaces at the RA, being inspired to use the Still Life practise with careful and observant note taking to produce an interesting and personal new series of paintings.

On the second course Eva was honing her Life Drawing skills in the historic Life Room with Francis Bowyer, where she enjoyed using her all important hand eye coordination, practising making a variety of marks and capturing a moving image.

Eva also visited the Royal Academy Library, which is a wonderful place for some good research into all things Art.

The Royal academy Libraries a wonderful place for research on information and images of art and artists.

Careful observation and note taking.

All this will come useful for Eva’s new body of work, including some figurative sculpture. Watch this space for some interesting new work…We’ll be having some fun!
